VMConnector, what is it?

• The VMConnector extension is the server part which installed on your Website with Joomla and Virtuemart.
  As you cannot connect directly to your Joomla Virtuemart database (MySQL), VMConnector enables connections through http and https from your local client databases and programs (accounting, products, ...).
  VMConnector exposes Web services functions which can be called directly and from your local applications to manage mass updates or data collections (VM catalog management, sales order processing).
  
  

• The VMCClient is a full functional client (.NET open source) which comes along with the VMConnector package to call the VMConnector web services functions on your web site. Once the data are retrieved into the VMCClient, you can export it directly into an MS Excel spreadsheet or connect it to your own product databases and applications.
